1. Cambie Driving School
Welcome to Cambie Driving School. By booking lessons or purchasing any package, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, professional, and efficient learning experience for all students.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By booking, purchasing, or participating in any services provided by Cambie Driving School, the student agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the student and Cambie Driving School.
3. Eligibility Requirements
All students must have a valid British Columbia learner’s driver’s license or a valid foreign driver’s license prior to the commencement of any lesson.
Students are required to carry their valid driver’s license at all times during instruction. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the lesson without refund.
4. Services and Pricing
Cambie Driving School offers driving lesson packages, individual lessons, and road test vehicle rental services for Class 7, Class 5, and Restricted Class 4 licenses.
All prices are subject to applicable taxes, including 5% GST.

5. Payment Terms
Accepted methods of payment include E-Transfer, cash, and cheque.
Full payment must be made either prior to the lesson via E-Transfer or at the time of pick-up unless otherwise agreed.
Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation or refusal of service.
6. Package Validity
All purchased packages must be completed within 1 year from the date of purchase.
7. Pick-Up and Drop-Off Policy
Complimentary pick-up and drop-off services are provided within designated service areas.
Locations exceeding 3 kilometers east or south of the service boundary may incur an additional fee of $10 per lesson.
8. Lesson Structure and Conditions
Driving lessons shall be conducted in dual-control vehicles operated by certified instructors.
Lesson durations are defined as follows:
- 60-minute lesson includes approximately 55 minutes of in-vehicle instruction
- 90-minute lesson includes approximately 85 minutes of in-vehicle instruction
A maximum of three individuals, including one observer, may be present in the vehicle during instruction at the sole discretion of the instructor.
9. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and No-Show Policy
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling of any lesson.
Failure to provide adequate notice shall result in forfeiture of the lesson fee.
- Students arriving up to 10 minutes late will receive the remaining lesson time without extension.
- Students arriving more than 15 minutes late shall be considered a no-show, and the lesson will be cancelled without refund.
10. Refund Policy
No refunds shall be issued for services that have already been rendered.
Refund requests for unused lessons must be submitted with at least 48 hours’ notice.
- A $25 processing fee shall apply to eligible refunds.
- Package refunds will be calculated based on the standard individual lesson rate for lessons already used.
11. Road Test Booking Responsibility
Cambie Driving School does not book road tests with ICBC on behalf of students.
Students are solely responsible for booking their road tests through the official ICBC system.
12. Amendments
Cambie Driving School reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on this website (text, images, branding) is the property of Cambie Driving School and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.
